Drawn from and normed by (governed by) the Scriptures, the Lutheran Confessions as found in the Book of Concord carry forward the pure teaching of the Apostles, Early Church Fathers, Medieval Confessors, and Reformers so that the Faith and practice of Jesus, once delivered to the saints, lives on throughout time.
